Information Usage: Visitors to a Charity's Site: "If requested we will forward your information to such "frequent buyer" programs as ClickMiles so you can receive credit for the transaction." changed to: "If requested by a charity, we will forward your information to a "rewards" program so you can receive credit for the transaction."

Information Usage: Visitors to CharityWeb's Site: " We will use your information to respond to an inquiry or if we have a question about a charity you want to add to our Index, etc." change to: "We will use your information to respond to an inquiry."

We utilize cookies only to keep track of items in your shopping cart, and not to track donations. We set them up so they can only be read by you and by CharityWeb's servers. If you disable cookies from your browser's configuration menu, our clients' shopping carts will not function. Cookies are not used to secretly obtain other data, and we do not look at other cookies on your computer.

Cookies
We utilize cookies to keep track of items in your shopping cart or gift basket.  We set them up so they can only be read by you and by CharityWeb's servers. If you disable cookies from your browser's configuration menu, you will only be able to add one item to our clients' shopping carts or gift baskets. Cookies are not used to secretly obtain other data, and we do not look at other cookies on your computer. The only information stored in a cookie we set is a temporary ID number that identifies your computer to our software. We link this ID number to the personally identifiable information you submit, but the ID number is deleted from your computer when you close your browser and from our records within 1 week.

Log Files: "None but IP addresses are linked to personally identifiable information. IP addresses are tied to personally identifiable information only to fix problems that arise." changed to: "Only IP addresses and referring pages are linked to personally identifiable information."

Notification of Changes: "we will notify you by email of the relevant changes." changed to "we will post a notice on the front page of our website noting that there have been changes to our privacy policy for 90 days after the policy becomes effective. We will also maintain a "changes" file that lists the changes in our privacy policy. ... As noted above, please be aware that this pertains only to PII that we actively maintain; it does not refer to PII passed or held by our clients.
